A
Museum for the American Style Water Pumping Windmill and
Related Exhibits on Wind Electric. The
purpose of the AMERICAN WIND POWER CENTER, as a 501 (c)
3 non-profit organization, is to interpret the relations
of humans, the environment and technology through the
medium of a museum of wind power history.
The Museum is open:
Tuesday Through Saturday 10am to 5pm Year Round . (Also open Sundays 2
PM to 5 PM May through September) Always Closed
Mondays. Admission is $5.00 per person or $10.00 for
a family of (4) four. Active Duty Military and their
household families are admitted free with Military I.D.
The
WindSmith Academy is now taking registrations for the
spring 2012 class which will be held April 16 & 17,
